When considering paying your property tax online, there are a few things you need to have in mind-:

  • You cannot get the PIN by email, fax or telephone. The tax agency will mail a copy of the original bill to the mailing address you have on the records.
  • When you use credit cards or Visa Debit card to pay for property taxes online, there may be processing fees involved, though these may be significant compared to the convenience you get through such options.

Paying over the telephone

Though this is not entirely online, it still gives you the convenience of online payment because you can do it from any location, only that you will have to make a phone call. Certain tax authorities will allow you to pay property taxes using selected debit and credit cards over the telephone vi a third party vendor. You will however have to pay the vendor some small fees to use such services.
